and Letters of Anne Morrow Lindbergh is
a wonderful choice for your book reading group. The words of Anne Morrow
Lindbergh and reflections of Ms. Dickson will resonate with women and men
everywhere who are reflective about their own inner lives.
Reeve Lindbergh, author and youngest daughter of
Charles and Anne Morrow Lindbergh, wrote to Ms. Dickson, "How very touched
my mother would be, as I am, to know that you have taken her words and gone
forward with them into your own unique and very important wisdom, out into the
world. Your own understanding is extraordinary, your own words so
beautiful."
Kim Jocelyn Dickson has offered to chat by speaker
telephone with any book discussion group that chooses
Gifts From the Spirit.

Presentations by Kim Jocelyn
Dickson
Ms. Dickson lectures and teaches
widely on the life and work of Anne Morrow Lindbergh. Her talk, "Anne
Morrow Lindbergh: Pioneer of the Heart" reflects not only twenty years of
research and study of Lindbergh’s life and work, but an extraordinarily
insightful perspective on her character and legacy.
The lecture features a
biographical overview of the life and work of Anne Morrow Lindbergh, illustrated
with a Power Point slide presentation of photographs. Ms. Dickson also discusses
the origins of her own book, Gifts From the
Spirit. Following the presentation, there is a
period of time for questions and a discussion with the author.
Ms. Dickson initially
delivered "Anne Morrow Lindbergh: Pioneer of the Heart" to a capacity
crowd at the Missouri History Museum in St. Louis, Missouri on January 5, 2003.
The presentation was the culminating event of a special exhibit celebrating the
75th anniversary of Charles Lindbergh’s epic 1927 flight.
